January13, 2011. Today I created my Wikispaces account.
January 27, 2011. My independent reading book isn't really a book. You have to go to www.wattpad.com. The title is Stuck On Mute i can't remember who the author is so I'll post it in my next one. Stuck On Mute is about a teenage girl named, Cora, who got in a car accident that killed her father. A piece of glass cut her throat just right to where she can no longer speak. I'm not very far into it but so far it is really good. The main character has black hair and blue eyes. She has a slight scar on her neck from where the glass cut her. Her problem is that she is trying to cope with living in a new town and trying to speak again. She has been able to laugh quietly but it hurts her throat. I like that it's different. I'm so used to reading a book where the main character can speak, but Cora has to write it on a marker board because she refuses to learn sign language.
February 10, 2011. I discontinued the book Stuck on Mute because it was unfinished. I am not currently reading a new book. I will have one next time though.
Final blog: March 4, 2011. I am currently reading a graphic novel that a friend recommended. I don't remember the title, so I will have to complete this at home.
April 1, 2011. I am reading The Ghost Sitter by Peni R. Griffin. It is about a 10 year old girl named Susie that died from a fire cracker explosion. Her problem is that she doesn't realize that she is a ghost and the only people that see her are little kids. 50 years later a girl named Charlotte and her family move in to her house. Susie loves little kids and helps babysit them. Usually most family's don't stay very long. Charlotte finds out about Susie after a few weeks and tries to help her move on. I'm only about half way through the book. So far it is really good book.
